01: How the helly does this work?

Alright, to actually start coding without experience is kind of impulsive. But what else is there to do for someone without life-goals and is right in the middle of their gap-year? I struggle a lot with the CSS coding. What does all the abbriviations mean? Well, I dunno. I try and try again to make a ... connotation(?) between an element to a certain design but it somehow never works. I might be using the wrong tag or something- Not even the cheatsheet could help me... Am I cooked? Tbh to code this stuff after work at 1AM is not the smartest. I always end up sitting here past midnight trying to figure out this foreign language. And my method is basically patch things together with ready-made codes from websites or programmers and adjust the stuff I need. I will link my resources when I've made that part of my website!

When starting this project I half-jokingly announced it to friends and my socials, but people were really positive about it. People I know IRL reached out to me basically said that if I needed any help they would gladly offer their hand. Lucky! So this project is not totally hopeless. I intended to make this a sort of personal website, portfolio or an archive to dump all my art stuff amd provide further info about certain projects that is a little tricky to do on apps like IG. I thought making my own website would be better since I could add in all the features that I want and it's good for experience.

I think I'll still continue doing the rest of the navbar 'cause I follow the wise words "make it exist first then make it good". I'll just make the basic functions of this website first and then decorate or change its appearance later. Any more complicated features can wait. At least until I've mastered HTML, CSS and JS if I need to. Thanks for tuning in whoever you are :D

I'll continue working on this, albeit slowly hehe...

02: Testing, testing

Lots of stuff to do...And I'm following a very rough outline I've scribbled on a piece of paper from my backpocket. This website is starting to look kinda legit ngl. I added a guestbook, expanded the 'archive' section and improved the website formatting (or whatever it's called). W3schools and html cheatsheets are my saviours fr.

On another note, I've been thinking of live-streaming when I'm drawing/painting. I usually sketch a lot, and barely find the motivation to do fully rendered illustrations. I also feel like I'm approaching yet another art-block so instead of pressuring myself to post finished works I thought perhaps just tagging along the process might be less stressful(?). It will be shorter intervals between media outputs and I can have sketch-with-me's when I don't have anything cool enough going on. And forming a small community seems fun.

What to write...
